¡Viva la Video!
100 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute. 6 billion minutes of video are watched each month. And yet, you still can’t find a video that will engage your students and provide a deeper understanding to the content you are presenting. Though it may seem daunting at first, making your own videos can provide you and your students with a custom-tailored, meaningful extension of your lesson’s objectives. From instructive videos to illustrative films, we will explore what makes a video useful and valuable in class. This session will walk you through the thought process of why specific content needs a video, to tools and resources to help you create a film that will enhance your lesson, no matter the content area.
